Help Android Market

Hi,
This is my first post, so I hope you will forgive me if my problem seems a bit elementary .

I have about five apps on my phone and recently tried to download two more but a msg came up "There are no matches in Android Market for ...."

Another msg comes up "the download was unsuccessful."

I have just spent the last 2 houirs trying to find a solution but am well and truly beaten. :bawling:

No question here is too elementary, that's how we all learned. You could try going into Settings | App | All | Market (or Google Play Store depending on your version) and clear Data and cache. This often gets the market running right if it goes awry.

Welcome to the forum. Clear data, cache on play store app, download manager and download agent apps and reboot the phone (settings >application or settings >apps). If you have root permissions clear dalvik cache.
