android market?

For some reason I can never find many of the apps that others have through the Market! It just doesn't find them... and its always on the good ones too lol, for example: SnapPhoto Free, Steel, ect.
I live in germany and have a T-mobile G1
 
One thing I did notice is that if you're looking for "AppManager", searching for "App Manager" won't work because the search feature doesn't combine search terms.

I don't see why it wouldn't find Steel though.

Edit: Judging from your other problems with applications, the problem might be the phone itself. You might try getting a replacement if your warranty covers one.
 
I find the search function in market to be terrible. Ironic really.

It won't understand portions of words, and as LaGrandeFromage stated, won't understand spaces between words.
 
Maybe it's related to our location, somehow, and we're locked out because of that?

On my part, I have a great deal of trouble finding the official Last.fm app. Here is the page for Last.fm on Cyrket, which shows this QR:

The funny thing is, that when I follow that QR (via Barcode Scanner), I get a Market page saying, "There are no matches in Android Market for the search: pname:fm.last.android". So how did all those other folks get hold of it to rate it so good? :confused:
 
Here's an idea: Could anyone post direct links to the APK files for the following apps:

  • SnapPhoto Free (requested by weezy21)
  • Steel (requested by weezy)
  • Last.fm (requested by KlaymenDK)
