Android media experience vs iPhone?

Karkas

I want to leave the iPhone, but I am a heave audiobook/podcast user and want to know how the experience compares.

I also rely heavily on the inline headphone ipod controls (including volume).

When I look at reviews they never say if/how the inline phone controls work.

I tested multiple phones with my klipsch s4i and most could play/pause the music, but none could turn the volume up or down.

I'm looking pretty hard at the new galaxy nexus, but I just dunno if I'm going to be happy without my controls or audiobook/podcast playback.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It seems that most of headphone control can only manage the volume of sound like as my Incredible S. I think you should wait for some days, maybe Galaxy Nexus can support audio playback

The default headset from Samsung doesnt have those controls similar to iPhone, but they respond to dedicated controls, like the default next, previous, play/pause, answer call and volume keys on a Nokia BH503.

I use my android phone for podcasts more than any other single thing.

I don't have corded headphones, but my phone does both volume and track controls on a bluetooth headset.
