Hi,
I have an Android (Samsung Galaxy) and I'd like to setup a Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync account. I also have admin access to the Exchange server. However, I'm having a lot of trouble with this setup.
So far, the ONLY way I successfully connected from Android to Exchange ActiveSync is if I enable "integrated Windows authentication" in the Exchange server's HTTP settings. But for company policies, I can't use "integrated Windows authentication" but should use "basic authentication" only (with default domain set).
If I do so, desktop users can authenticate just fine with the OWA Exchange interface but Android devices don't.
I don't see anything relevant in the Windows Exchange server event logs.
The Android email error message is even less informative: "can't connect to server"...
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.
