Ok, this has been driving me bonkers.
I bought from Best Buy three Verizon Moto G phones ($25 a piece!) for my kids to use as mini tablets. They work flawlessly except for one thing: LAN multiplayer.
So I have tested three games: Minecraft, Terraria, and Angry Birds Go!. None of the Moto G will connect to each other for local server games. But when we tested with the wife's Iphone 5, the Minecraft local server shows up. I have several other older android phones I tested with Minecraft and they don't seem to want to host or receive other android based local minecraft server either.
I thought it might be the router, but I've tested the Moto Gs on two other routers (AT&T and Frontier) and still no luck. I've even turned off the firewall and it still makes no difference.
I would love any hint of what might be going on, thank you much.
