Android News And Talk Section Hijacked

Anyone notice how the Android News And Talk Forum has been taken over? The members of the community are no longer allowed to have posts there. Our posts are moved and thus buried with no post count - even if they have the same content as a post later submitted by the Phandroid bot.

Please return the Android News And Talk section back to the community.

Each forum has a sub-title. The one for Android News and Talk is, "Get the scoop on the most recent Android happenings... and what might be happening!"

Moved threads are done (as best we can) when that is not adhered to.

"The members of the community are no longer allowed to have posts there."

Not true, of course; any member can post there, as you just did.

Once in a while a staffer is wrong, either way: we'll leave some that should have been moved, and we'll move a few that may have a case for staying. It's not an exact science, but we're doing our best.. we really are.

This is more of a Lounge topic, by the way; there's just no "News and Talk" about Android devices in the OP. I've moved it for you.

I expected this post to be moved, LOL. Yes, I was getting concerned that none of our posts were allowed on the Android News and Talk page anymore. I have even posted the same story as the bot and had that moved also. It appears that every story that isn't posted by the bot is moved. So, since this was a significant change, I wanted to know why.

Taking into account the considerable amount of threads that are posts within that forum that have nothing to do with the forum title, it may be easier to just move all threads out that aren't made by phandroid, and have others post their threads in the Android Lounge
