I tried everything proposed here, connect usb w/o battery, then insert battery then waiting for thr beep.. there was no beep.
Then I tried the 3s one, insert usb cable, wait 3s and take it out... didnt work either, my phone is still dead.
I know I have battery cuz I switched with my mom's battery to try.
Yesterday, I turned it off and after the final vibration, the screen still said : shutting down, it stayed like that for over a minute, so I just took the battery off and put it on again, the phone would turn on every time I inserted the battery. I left it there w/o no batteries until this morning, now, nothing is turning it on
I need desperately some data I have there, please help!
Also, My phone might have been infected by a virus last month, and the power button was not working properly.
