Android not playing any videos

Hi, suddenly my phone is not playing any videos. It corrupted a whole SD card and had to change it for a new one. I thought that was the problem why the device wouldn't play any videos. Nothing in the gallery would actually load. I performed a hard reset, and inserted a working new SD card. But still, not gallery videos, instagram or youtube videos will play. Audio does play but screen stays blacked out. So streaming if streaming videos won't play as well, it is not an SD card problem. Any ideas?

Generally speaking, if an issue is still there after a factory reset, it's a hardware problem and you either need to attempt a fix yourself or get it repaired.

How old is the phone? Is it still in warranty?

I think it still might be in warranty. The thing is that I had another device. Which I sent to repair twice because the jack port was malfunctioning. The third time I sent it, they replaced my device with a newer one. So that's the one I'm having problems with.

Whereabouts in the world are you? I'm not sure if it's the same in the US, but in the EU you have a 2 year warranty on replacement devices so as long as it's within the 2 year period, it should still be in warranty.

It'll at least come with a 6 month one. Check the paperwork they sent you when you got the phone back.

There's no harm in giving them a call anyway.
