Hi all , is it normal to have something like 30% battery usage by android os , its not on my g3 so please excuse me putting it here , its on my tablet but no one seems to post in the tablet section lol ....could it be an app or is it just general android os usage that's normal , thank you

It's cool that you posted here, but, since this isn't an LG G3 specific question,I'm gonna move this to the ANDROID QUESTIONS section.
It'll get more views & likely a quicker response/resolution.
In the meantime,for a better idea of what's going on w/your device,I suggest d/l G-SAM BATTERY MONITOR:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gsamlabs.bbm&hl=en

Most of the dev/mod hard-core crowd use this tool & can answer ?'s if necessary.

It depends how you use it. If you take it off charge then play games until you need to recharge it then no, I'd expect the power use to be dominated by screen and games. But with more normal use, where a large fraction of the time is spent in standby then yes, this doesn't seem unreasonable.

But as Kolio says, if you want more detail about what is actually using the power, give GSam a spin.

Thank you both , its mainly charged till the morning , then left till I get home after 10 hours then general surfing , don't play games tbh

So total time running on battery, total screen-on time, and how much charge is left? There are lots of other things which can affect battery life (screen brightness, phone signal, and how often it is syncing various apps), but those are the big one.

GSam can give those numbers plus a much more detailed breakdown.
