Android on Dell laptop

I've got an old(ish) Dell Inspiron laptop which had Win10 home. The Hard disk dies so I replaced it with a spare 500GB one. I never really liked Win10, so instead of just going with Mint or Ubuntu, I thought I'd try Android X86 (the 64 bit version). I tried running it 'live' from a dvd and that worked just fine. So I rebooted and installed it to the HDD. I now have laptop running Android Nougat perfectly (without a taskbar). everything works as it should, the touchpad works as it should, I don't even miss touchscreen functionality. Oh, it also runs so much better than Windows ever did. I've not found many apps that don't work with Intel hardware.

20 July update - Just tried Oreo, live from a DVD, everything working except WiFi. Oh well, it's the RC1 version, so good going so far. I'll try the next release candidate, and the final release version, and update then.
