Android on ipad clones

Just wanted to get some opinions on how android performs on the ipad clones? Im a noob to android and was interested in how it performs as an OS on the tablets? The tablet im looking at is running 1.5

Now for the noob questions:

Does Android 1.5 support WAP and WEP?
Can you connect to the Android Market simply through WIFI, to install applications?
Does Android play video smoothly?

1) Yes
2) - No i believe the market place app is only installed on google licensed products, if you use the standard open source release then the Google apps (Gmail/Maps/Market etc) are missing, and you have to use a third party market place or download the apk's individually.
3) Well Youtube and Beebplayer (A UK to stream BBC TV programs) display fine on my Magic, no idea what its like scaled up on a larger screen or in a higher res.
