You are in recovery mode.
The question is why? Have you tried rooting, modifying the software in any way, etc? Because if it's booting into that mode that implies that it's not able to boot normally.
It might be worth just pulling the battery out for a couple of minutes - likely won't help, but you don't lose anything. But knowing the history of the phone with help us identify the cause.
