Android or iPhone 6 tough choice

So I'm looking to get either I think a note 4 or iPhone 6 when released my partner wants the iPhone 6 and so did I but.......

I currently have a moto g 4g did have a m8 but the moto g does pretty much the same and was big time until the iPhone.

The thing is I like the fact I can get films on my android and watch the football and everything else and I don't think you can on iPhone.

But I do like the feel and look of iPhone also the way apps are on iPhone and they seem to get big games first etc and the emoji things on Facebook etc

And also is the iPhone going to have a much better screen

Any good advice here as I used to be a device hopper a lot as was I with cars but time to slow down and stop wasting money.

I have been weighting up iPhone 6 or HTC One M8. For now in the interim I have settled at updating my aging Defy to CM11 and overclocking a little.

I think Apple have great customer service and iPhone's easier to use though you'll end up paying more for Apps.

iPhone 6 has a bigger screen than previous versions and may sacrifice ergonomics. Previous iPhones were perfect for holding in your hand, making calls, just using one hand operations. iPhone 6 more difficult for that.

Android's are great value for money and you can end up with something better than an iPhone but maybe without the prestige.

I think the HTC One M8 is just about the best phone around at the moment and I don't think the iPhone 6 or anything else in the pipeline is likely to beat it.

Some may rubbish it's camera but it is still pretty good for a smartphone. And who need's so many megapixels anyway when most people are just using instagram?

I think iPhone 6 and HTC One M8 both great products I guess choice is which camp you prefer. Some prefer Apple, others Android.

Just my thoughts.

Sure you can get movies, TV shows and sports on the iPhone, just like you can on Android. Many of the main broadcasters and online video services do iOS apps, just as they do for Android, or often you can use a browser on their sites. Apple sells and rents movies and TV shows via the iTunes store.

Emoji with Facebook depends on whatever device you're using. All iOS devices have it as well as recent Android versions. If you post Emoji to Facebook using an iPhone and the person viewing it is using a device that doesn't have it, they won't see it.

any real details of the iphone 6 yet?
I know there will be 2 models released. but one was rumored to be 6inches!
i personally don't think they will go over 5.. maybe 4.7inch

The rumours are for a 4.7" model and a 5.5" model, with additional rumours that the 5.5" model will be released later than the 4.7" one.

But probably won't be any really solid detail until the announcement.

Just think its a tough choice both have pros and cons like I couldn't edit a video on my Mrs iPhone 4s so had to result to sending it to my moto g and her iPhone and iPad is very slow

but I don't know how slow an old android of similar age would be or even if it would still be supported

Its kind of like the old Fifa or pro evo, cod or battlefield, gran turismo or forza and PlayStation or Xbox so frustrating

The iPhone 4s works fine as long as you don't update it to iOS7. ;)

Actually I'm not joking. Updates will maintain app compatibility for longer, but sometimes that can be at the cost of performance (whether on iOS or Android). 15 months ago I was still running Gingerbread, even though Jelly Bean 4.1 had been announced almost a year earlier. Why? Because with the hardware I had then I got better performance from that than from later Android versions.

Really, which hardware are you happier with, and which OS are you happier using? There's no right answer to this, only what's right for you.

Yeah its very true I think I may get iphones and just get a nexus tab or Samsung tab for movies etc
