Help Android OS Causes 74% Battery Drain?

My Samsung Galaxy S2 Epic loses 100% of its battery charge overnight when I go to bed, even if it is fully charged at the beginning of the day. When its says "Battery critically low" and I push the "Battery Use" button the next morning, I get these stats:

2% discharging
Android OS 74%
Phone 9%
Cell standby 8%
Phone idle 5%
Screen 4%

Sometimes I hear it turn on and off and vibrate all by itself on my nightstand, as if it were electronically masturbating or something like that. Maybe it is connecting to my WIFI home network all by itself, but I had already unchecked the Connections Optimizer button. The only unique feature on my home WIFI is that I have the Sprint AIRAVE signal booster connected 24/7 to my Verizon FIOS modem/router combo since I live in a signal-poor area. But my phone stats show phone activity to be nil. What on earth is causing my Android OS usage to be at 74%?

Would a hard factory reset fix the problem and how do I exactly do it? I have Power Max installed but this doesn't do anything except display a beautiful red button in the daytime and spit out some wildly optimistic discharge rates. At night, it goes to sleep while the phone keeps discharging.

I am at my wits' end and could use some help. Thanks!

This is getting stranger by the minute. Tonight I heard Pandora turn on by itself and heard Jose Feliciano singing. Yet when I clicked the task icon, it said "active applications = 0". Earlier I went to the Sprint store and was told to simply press the RAM icon and "Clear memory", It said "21 applications closed" yet the battery drain goes on. He also said my battery is underpowered since it is only 1500 mah when it should be 1800 mah. Huh?
