Hello guys!
Yesterday I finally downloaded this OS for my pc. I installed it and everything works great... Mostly.
There is only one problem. I cant figure out how to get a "Fake" SDCard working. I selected the option in the install. But it still says That it cant find sdcard. So if anyone can help me, with either making a fake sdcard file for the computer to recognize as a real one, or helping me in the terminal to mount a FAKE sdcard.
Thank you guys.
Here is where I got the install from
Android-x86 - Porting Android to x86
:) have a great day all!

Yes it took me a few installs to get it right. It's all in their documentation.

To be honest, it was all a waste of time for me. Such a let down.

Wish I could reclaim the time I spent installing and "using" android x86. With that reclaimed time I could have done something more meaningful like counting rice or shaving fungus.

I know, sadly i realised that. It was such a huge letdown. I cant even install market/googleplay apk. It wont even run for me. I mean everything is awesome. Im just dissappointed. :(
Sorry about the spelling there.

Yeah you have to use 3rd party markets and even then, install of many many apps fail

I think right now the only real way if experiencing android on a laptop type device is to buy an ARM based netbook that comes with android on it already

Settings may be limited, but some apps are still pretty good running on a PC - I can look up the current TV listings even if my phone is off. Considering the price, I'm not complaining that I'd make a lot of changes to the program if I could.

Oh I agree, it works well, no doubt about it, just it would be nice to have full control over the UI and settings.
