I have a Galaxy S5 that has never been rooted. I installed the Android Pay app and tried to set it up. When it got to the confirm card screen, I got an error screen that said the app could not confirm that the device or software was android compatible. Google has been working for 2 days now to solve the issue but have not come up with the answer yet. I have Kit Kat 4.4.2, NFC turned on, and a Lock Screen in Place. I tried uninstalling and then re-installing, no luck. I did a factory re-set of my phone, no luck. Does anyone have any advice other than don't use the app?
