Android phones with good reception

Are there any?

A friend has decided he wants an Android phone, but I've told him to avoid the Hero at all costs because of its lack of functionality as a working phone. He wants to know if there are any Android-based phones that have normal signal reception capabilities, so I said I'd ask... Any recommendations?

My Sprint Hero has excellent reception, never dropped a call.

my verizon eris is fine so far...when my wife and I go places together, we both have the same amount of bars and she is on a blackberry tour (what i was using)

Never got dropped calls with my N1.

Been using a Droid for a little over a week now. I get exellent service, even in my concrete basement. 3G speed tests have been beyond my wildest dreams.
