Android Programming Internship Experiences?

Hello!

I start work as an Android software engineering intern next week, and it'll be my first programming job. So far I've only worked in IT, but I've got three major Android apps under my belt (2 I donated to charity, and one is an arcade game that's done decently well). I was wondering if anyone has any experience as an Android intern, either working with them or as one, that they could share. I really don't know what to expect going into this, I just had the opportunity come up and I decided to move across the country for the summer to pursue it. What sort of tasks do they generally get? Is it mostly testing, or actual development or design? The place I will be working for does apps for fairly major clients, such as universities and professional sports teams, so I figure it'll mainly be informative apps but I'm not 100%.

Sounds fun. Sorry, I've not heard of anyone being an Android Intern. (Though, with your experience, I'd be surprised if you can't find work doing it as a regular employee...)

Have fun with it. You'll learn tons, and it'll probably have possibility of advancing within the company.

Sounds like a great opportunity, Glade you took it. Good luck with this. I'm just starting College so I haven't had any Intern jobs yet.
