Hi, my daughter has a new app (I think it’s an app) and I’m trying to figure what it is and what all it does. It shows up as
Com.tct.dialer ??

A "dialer" is something like the "phone" app: call logs, access to contacts and a dial pad. I can't say whether this is the one that came with her phone or an alternative app - some people do install third party alternatives just because they like the features or interface better (I do for calendar, SMS app, gallery, calculator and many others, though I've never bothered with the dialer).

I think that type of apps come with phone internally.
