Android Studio: Device IP Address

How would one query for a tablet's IP address in code? Trying to make a standard program that will be installed in multiple tablets, so I need to identify which tablet is being used in the code itself.

Are you sure you want to use the IP as the identity? Those could change pretty frequently/easily.
