Android-system displayed twice in battery usage

Newbie
I came across this strange thing when checking my battery usage: Android-system is displayed twice
- One with a rather small percentage, containing the normal list of packages.
- And another large percentage (25%!!!) without any list of packages (with a total CPU time of 1h 8m)

I don't think this is normal, right?
Can't really think of an application I recently installed that might cause this and why it's this large and is being displayed seperatly.

Any ideas?

Samsung Galaxy S, recently updated to 2.3.3

What you have described sounds like the known bug in 2.3.3 regarding the Android system process using excessive battery. The other Android entry in battery usage should be called Android OS. Both entries should be consuming something like 3 to 4 % battery. The Android System entry will have a big list of apps etc that it handles and the Android OS will just show CPU.
The only fix for this is to update to a newer version of 2.3.3 or 2.3.4.

Thank you for your reply.
Indeed, i don't have Android-OS entry. (luckillythe 25% only happened once up until now)
Too bad the official 2.3.3 update came out not so long ago in my country, so it'll probably take a while for a new update ...
But now i know why, i'll probably be checking updates more regularly!

Thanks!
