Welcome and thank you for bringing your question to Android Forums, shree man.
The Galaxy Tab has a reset option in the "Privacy" section of the main menu. That will return your device to "out of the box" or factory condition, as long as it is not damaged in some way.
But before doing that, try turning off the device, then removing the SIM and sd cards; they are in two special slots on the side of the device. They are both labeled, so are easy to find.
After removal, simply put them back in and power up the Tab. If things look ok, go no further (sometimes removing and putting back those cards is all that is needed).
If things are still wrong, go ahead with the factory data reset (a selection in the "Privacy" area of the main settings menu, as mentioned).
If you cannot get to the menu, there is another way to do a reset:
- Power the device off.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key and then briefly press the Power key to power on the device.
- Release the Volume Up key and the Power key when the Samsung logo displays on the screen.
- Use the Volume Up key to select the small android with an arrow icon.
- Press the Volume down key.
- Use the Volume keys to select Recovery Console then press the Power key.
- From the Recovery Console screen, use the Volume keys to select Wipe Data / Factory Reset then press the Power key.
- Use the Volume keys to select Yes then press the Power key.
- Once the Wipe Data / Factory Reset has completed, use the Volume keys to select Reboot System Now then press the Power key.
Good luck. Post back your results, please.
