Batteries are something we just have to trust. Often when a battery depletes it can have trouble recharging. You might have noticed devices shutdown before reaching zero. Sitting in a box came zero it out.
With that said have you put it in s safe place and allowed it to sit on charger out out the heat? Batteries need to be drained and charged to build them up.
