Help Android theme instead of Orange one??

Hi Guys

Thinking of purchasing one of these here in the UK!!

The default theme is rather plain I think, can it be changed to the "proper" Android theme?

Does anyone have any screen shots of their screens using the none Orange theme?

In the Applications menu there is something called the "Homescreen Selector" or similar and using that you can change the theme to Stock Android. I hope that helps =)

Stock Android?? what is that, would you explain further please, thanks again for your input.

Stock Android is whats known as Vanilla Android, ...an install of Android without any customizations. HTC for example, will put Sense on their phones.

I would install Launcher Pro from the market, this will let you hide any orange apps that are pre-installed aswell as select the stock Android version

I meant to ask you Mate would I have to use the Launcher Pro everytime I turn the Fone on or does it save your preferred settings until you change em??

It will save your prefered settings, theres a box that needs to be checked in launcher pro thats all to make sure it does this. Its pretty straight forward though, you cant miss the option.

The best way to change the Orange theme is to install a custom ROM. This will get rid of all the Orange bloatware on your phone (unless you want it) and leave you with an almost stock version of Android OS. Plus your phone will run better as a result
