Android to Android phone transfer

So i tried to look this up but couldnt find it. If im going from moto droid to the droid X is there a way to transfer everything over easy? not contacts but apps and stuff...

There are several backup apps in the market, just take a look around.

Unfortunately, they won't back up copywrite apps (ones you've paid for generally) but as long as you sign in to the new phone on your existing google account then the market will recognise that you've paid for them, and you will be able to re-download them freely.

AppBrain from the market. It will sync your current apps, then download it on the new phone, and it will give you the option to re-download all of them. It wont save the settings in the apps, but it will let you get all the apps at once.

Motorola Mover should do the trick. I expect to use Samsung Smart Switch in my upcoming transfer.

It will help if you can order a microUSB to microUSB cable for faster transfer...

If you have an OTG adapter you can presumably use that plus a regular microUSB cable for this as well.
