I couldn't find a proper tutorial till now.

How did you guys learn Android SDK ? Just by reading its docs ?

I suppose you have seen the Developer's Guide? That, browsing the Reference documentation, checking forums, and experimenting like you're Lord Kelvin -- that should do the trick!
