Hi.

First of all thank you very much in advance for your kind help and answers to my question.

I am not a tech level guy or an expert in any gadgets. I watch a lot of movies and I like to play it from my TV Box.

I recently bought an Android TV Player. it's with 1 GB RAM and 4 GB Storage. when I connect and play some of my HD movies in my HDD... some formats are playing well. heavy HD formats like MKV, MP4 are not working, also in some movie video is there but no audio, in some movies audio is there but no video. it shows ac3 not supported etc... and very funny some movies audio is not sync with video and I can see the working videos stand still for some microseconds every 15 seconds.

I already speak to the shop but he told me to come and get it replaced with 16 GB storage and 2 GB ram TV BOX.

which player is to be installed to get good audio and video quality. All recent formats to be supported. My TV box is connected to DENON AVR through HDMI cable. I got 5.1 audio speaker system.

Terrarium didnt help but thank you CYBERDEV, your idea leads me to "kodi" player and thats taking care of the job perfectly. nice 5.1 mixING through my AVR and nice video quality.

I mean maybe it's a dumb question but did you try Kodi?
I use it on all of my tv boxes, there are great repos to download the addons for kodi also that let you watch movies, tubi tv, popocorn time, and many others,

I myself still use the Exodus plug-in and URL resolver , they discontinued those, but I still have them in a zip file. LoL and they still work great.

all the new movies are there, some times before it's out in theaters here,
yeah I liked my tv boxes a lot, but I killed my last one trying to install a stupid TWRP IMG that someone here at AF made up.
but I wont get into that here. LoL
Yeah, maby try Kodi.

hope it helps
