Android TV box and NBC App problems??

Hi, I have installed the NBC app and I also have my VPN to run the NBC app. Problem I have, I can load the home page of NBC but I just get a black screen when I try to play any video or live tv.

Any Ideas please?

Are you rooted?
I'm not familiar with that setup at all, just throwing my only idea out there... I get similar responses when I'm rooted and not using Xposed hideroot

No it's not rooted. The box i'm currently using is a Zoomtak m6 Android 4.2 TV Box XBMC Media Player Center AMLogic 8726 Dual core 1.5GHz.

I have my VPN set to USA and mt username and password for NBC but it will not play the video stream, works fine on my PC.
