I just got a MP-G7 android TV box media player (Android version 2.34). I noticed that the power button on the remote power down the box completely instead of put it into standby mode. Each time, it takes a few minutes to boot up. This is really a bad design for a gadget that is marketed as TV box. I searched this forum. It seems that most of people use other brands. Not sure how the Power button behaves or should behaves since the box does not have a screen unlike any tablet. But there should be a way to hibernate the device so that it can quickly wake up. Does anyone know any workaround? I did not see any power related setting.
