Help Android tv box reboot's loop

Hi I bought an M9C pro android tv box, as I plugged it into the tv it came alive then when I selected an app after setting up the wifi etc it crashed and went into the rebooting page over and over till eventually loading the home page it would work for a bit but then crash and reboot again over and over. Is there a problem with the device or could I have done something wrong.

Mine did exactly the same so I sent it back to Amazon and got a replacement. Guess what? it did the same. Now looking for an alternative. Any suggestions.
