Hi, and thanks in advance for reading and trying to help
I've got the following SETUP: I recently bought This CX 919 Android Box and i hooked it up on my SONY BDV-E380 Home Cinema Blu-Ray Player. And from the Sony player, i'm using an HDMI cable to this BENQ W1070 projector.
My problem is the following: I've got no problem sending any type of stream normal sized from the sony player to my projector, but since i hooked up the CX 919 android box, i've got the 1280x720x60 resolution which makes my projector show only half a screen. When i try to set it to 1080p (setting which is set already in the sony player and the current version of the stick/device/whatever its called supports) it goes black and reverts back to 720 after the seconds count down.
First image: resolution setting of the Android TV Box
Second image: explanation for scale of my dire situation ... (normally the entire wall is projected)
Note: I barely understood what 1080p means, so i'm kind of a noob in these matters, so take me slow please
One more note on this matter, I tried hooking it up directly to the projector, it works fine, although i've got no power source up there for it and also, the audio is very poor on the projector (i've got everything through the walls, kinda almost impossible to take out any more wires). So my best solution for good audio is to connect the android box to the home cinema player.
