Android TV BOX Xenic TVi7 USB connection

Hello. It is not typical issue. I have bought Xenic TVBox TVi7 with Android 4.0.4 ICS on board. Device is not rooted, and exploits what I have found to root it to run from TVi7 directly don't work. The device has 2 host USB ports. Is it possible to connect this device to my PC to run for example ADB commands? I tried with direct USB cable (male's type cable on both sides) and set in android configuration in USB tab, that USB will be used to Connect to PC but it doesn't work - my PC restarts for short time after make a cable connection. Nothing has fried for my luck. I can't use ADB in tcpip mode because I don't have root permissions to set it. I can't use any terminal apps for ADB commands from market directly on TVi7 because of root.
My device has builtin 2GB inner space treated as SD-CARD and is ignoring my external 16GB SD-CARD as a place for games and applications. None of apps like App2SD or Link2SD can move my apps to external SD-CARD because they just don't see it. Android sees both SD-CARDs properly (configuration menu).
I wanna to give a shot a command ADB shell pm setInstallLocation 2 but I can't do this now.
Any help will be appreciate.

Mini USB port which exists on device and is described as "only for power supply" is really guest type full usb port. But I had to use Y usb cable because TVi7 has turned off constantly each time I want to turn it on on normal USB cable - probably insufficient power.
I made official update, and now device is recognized as rooted device. I only run moborobo in order to install proper driver for XP. But I don't have superuser or supersu or sth like that installed. And I don't see any option to uninstall system apk. I installed superuser by chainDD but there is nothing to choose in that app so I don't really know if root is working or not.
