Any of you guys ever heard about it?

I read some info and there are many people who are delighted with the device.

I'm more interest because they have the possibility to use a modular tuner.

I have seen a few new ones such Vizio has one that just came out with in the past week . Love the remote has keyboard for typing on the back and a range of different things on the front . Didn't get the price but it looks easy-to-use interface and Vizio makes smart TV a good one on side of Samsung

WeTek is not Chinese company. Their HQ is in Slovenia, Europe with office in HK. I own wetek device, and it's nothing like all other chinese devices who just prepare SDKs they received from SoC manufacturer (in this case Amlogic) and sell it. Wetek guys did great job. There's plenty of support for stock android, cyanogenmod, openelec...

I agree that its Amlogic MX platform, but very well optimized and really good media player and dvb-s2/t/t2/c, isdb, atsc... tuner (depends on your choice when ordering). Tuner is replaceable w/o opening box.
 
Hey guys, although the Wetek play its not the most hardcore specs Tv Box around, it has a great user friendly TV experience and a strong firmware behind it. Support is great and if you live in Europe you will have the device in 1-2 days. At least i did.

Hey guys it is nice to see wetek thread also here at my favourite forum when I need some tutorial or firmware for my htc one m8 :)
