Android Video Play

Hi guys, I am having an HTC Desire HD which i recently bought.

I used a converter in my PC and convert a movie into MP4 format so that my device will be able to read it, and yes it worked but one thing is that the movie is slower than the sound. Does it has anything to do with my phone settings? Or there is some apps that i will need in order to let my video play smoothly.

OK, what converter program did you use? What was the source video from? What codec did you convert it to? What bitrate? What resolution? What app are you using to play it back with?
