Definitely better. Now you need to size them in a larger resolution or they wont look very good as wallpapers. I suggest 1066x800 as a usable default size with minimal cropping for most Android phones (not Moto Droid though).
What ive been doing in photoshop is creating a new psd file with a default of the highest resolution in the mobile phone category...but thanks ill start doing that
