Hey all! I'm Aarlo. Nexus One user, new Android developer. I wrote a blog post today on Android vs. iPhone and thought you'd be interested. Excerpt:

Surprising data:
  • In the US, there are 9 million Android phones, 11 million iPhones, 19 million total iOS devices (iPhone + iPod Touch + iPad)
  • Nexus One has just 2% of the Android market share - the Motorola Droid and the HTC Hero/Magic/Dream are on top
  • iPhone users are wealthier than Android users
  • Google pays the carriers a cut of revenue from mobile search and in-app ads (from the Admob acquisition). So carriers, expecting this extra income, can sell Android phones cheaper

The iphone are now owned greater market percentage, but android just developed much shorter a time than iphone, so, i think android will beat iphone in a short time.
