I switched from an Iphone to android. The wifi is horrible. Its slow and instagram and twitter and youtube will automatically load videos in extremely low quality now. Not only that i cant even download updates as it says network issues. And its not cause of one phone because i went through this with the LG G6 and now the v30. Ive disabled IPV6 to try to fix it but nothing. It should be noted i use a wifi extender in my room called the actiontec WCB3000N but even on school wifi which yes isnt the best but worked good enough on my iphone is horrible on both of my androids ive owned. Any help?

Android Wifi Struggling

I think someone else was reporting a problem with one of these "wifi extender" things recently. Although I've never seen one myself, so don't know what to suggest, except maybe it's a compatibility problem? Could worth checking with the manufacturer's tech support, see if the can suggest anything?
probably me. I need help as its near not usable but some jackasses on the other forum kept trolling. also if it worked fine w iphone why would it be any different with android
Maybe you WiFi extender just has an AAPL preference and gives shitty service to Android in hopes of keeping you with iCrap devices. Yes, some mfgrs actually do stuff like this with products..
I don't know this "wifi extender", and have never come across one. But it's not Designed for iPhone or something like that is it, like it's proprietary to iOS.
Does it have anything like this on it?
