Android wireless precedence

I've jsut gotten a Nexus One, and I've got it setup and using the 3g network in my area. However, when I'm at home, and connected to my wireless, which one of the two will take precedence over the other?

Lookin at the balance on my phone account (prepaid) I'm consuming my credit, but I was hoping someone here would be able to shine some light on the matter for me.

Model number: Nexus One
Firmware version: 2.1-update1
Baseband version: 32.24.00.22U_4.03.00.21_2
Kernel version:2.6.29-01117-g4bc62c2 android-build@apa26 #1
Build number: ere27

When your connected to Wifi, all internet related traffic goes over that. If you need to receive an MMS or something, then it will use the 3G data.

That's how it works for Verizon. I'm not sure if its exactly like that for GSM phones.
