Apps Android6 email

Hi
Can someone point me where is an .apk which would install the same email application which Android 6 had (in honor8). I would want to just install it to OnePlus Ce nord.
Actually I would want phone and messages, calendar, flashlight also from android 6.

Are the installation files somewhere in the internet available (rather not from google store, I rather avoid it like plaque). ^^ ???

You are probably not going to be successful.

Most stock apps are very device specific.

Do you still have the old device?
If so, I can show you how to extract the apks from the apps you want and send them to your new device.

Install this onto the old device, and use it to get the apks.
They will be stored in Downloads/apks.

Then download and install this onto both devices, and use it to send the apks to the new device.

On an Honor device, it's not actually "Android6" email. It's an app that's specific to Huawei and Honor phones running EMUI. It can be found in Huawei's own AppGallery app store. If it will run on a device that isn't made by Huawei, no idea.

If you still have the Honor8, you can share an app via Bluetooth to another device by holding down its icon, and Share should pop-up as one of the options.

As for "flashlight" that's just a short-cut from the pull-down menu, a feature that's standard in Android, The OnePlus should have the same thing, which just turns the camera's flash LED on and off.

I actually broke the old honor8 accidentally when I was trying to change the covers. The battery didn't come of like in the video on youtube. I pressed some plastic tool under it and broke the screen cable and it was too expensive then to continue. I could buy used honor 8 (20€) from someone and try to extract the apks then. But first I will try now look ffor the huawei app gallery.....

Well - Hi!
I extracted the apk file of email (from Honor8) and then I got the nitro share file transfer working.
But when I press to install the apk on to oneplus ce nord which has operation system android v. 11 .

The installation just quickly ends to say that the application was not installed. ?? Can the installation be forced to happen somehow?
Is the problem because if I have changed some rights of google applications or??? What can it be? - typically old software can work on a newer operation system if it is tried hard?!

This it is. I found an application called roundcube, but it is not made by my email provider and they were not able to help, why it did not work.

I assume you're in Finland and/or can read Finnish.

Do they not provide the details you need to setup a third-party email client for their service? Like if it requires SMTP.... or POP...., etc. And I don't know this "roundcube" of course.

That basically means it's incompatible, and no, you can't force an incompatible app to install and work.

I suspect either the older Honor8 phone is 32bit architecture, and the new OnePlus requires apps to be built for 64bit architecture, or there's something in the heavily modified EMUI version of Android that Huawei makes, that their their email app requires, but is not in the OnePlus.

I have aqua mail email app in use to test it, but it selects accidentally all messages, if drag the list from left (not center) and if one accidentally swipe message right it deletes it annd if one accidentally swipes message left it marks it unread and it mayby do not save sent messages to server at all?? I am not sure where did it save sent messages. This makes it a bit riskfull to delete/change.

The point at the beginnig when I got this phone in my hand was that: some people in the worls have an obsession and some sort of idea that something must be known of every person in the world. And this would be one attempt to know of people to try to collect all the people to register to google and do everything with their spy applications.
I could understand it, but because I know who are the actual people who wants to know about human behavior. I rather give them false information. Their interest is not to help people, but to find weak spots, how to dsstroy their lives.
And think more your self :p

Then to do what you say here, personally I would set up a G-Mail account to distribute the false information.
Google is the absolute worst as far as spying and distributing your information, and G-Mail is their e-mail app.

For my personal, real information- that which I do not want distributed to everyone/everything with a microchip- I would set up another e-mail address with ProtonMail.
