Andy Rubin believes quantum computing could allow a single AI to power our smartphones

Andy Rubin was speaking at the recent Bloomberg Tech Conference and he gave a talk that focused on AI, quantum computing, and what that means for the future.

He said that we shouldn't fear "Skynet coming online," instead, we should worry about what it means to have that much computing power.

I wish I were that rich that i could talk nonsense like that. Must be nice.

The only AI I want powering my smartphone is the one I can control personally. I don't want a algorithm deciding what's good for me.

Maybe if I had a full transcript of what he said I'd feel different but that little soundbite doesn't make sense to me.
