Anyway to get an app on the market ( anyone with iPhone or ipod touch knows) like this one or close to it

I looked this up a couple of weeks ago on the internet, and apparently the company that makes Angry Birds will be making an Android port. Everything I read stated that this port is due to come out this summer. So hopefully we'll see it on the Android Market soon... :-)

Angry Birds

What can I say.... other than "It's about time!" :D

I really enjoyed this game on my friend's iPhone and he kept nagging me that it was available on Android. Now I wonder if older devices will be able to run it... let's hope so.

There are so many Angry Birds threads its kinda ridiculous. I've never even heard of it before, but all the hype has made me rather excited to see it-- even signed up for the beta! :)

they already sent an email ? I didn't get an email :S
maybe I should try and subscribe again with my other email

Once you registered to receive updates, they should have sent you another email confirming your registration.

No other emails have been sent regarding Angry Birds' release on the Android yet (Beta or Retail).

So they're doing a public beta then? It says it will be available in the market on friday. I was kinda hoping it would be limited only to people who signed up. ;)

The beta version they're releasing to the market on Friday is only a lite version so we won't be able to get out grubby mits on the full version till they release it officially I guess.

So is the beta going on the market then? making subscribing to that list pointless?

The list was first just for announcing when the game was on the market. They decided to do a closed beta and were going to use the people on the list but demand was so great they decided to do an open beta on the market. The list will still be used to announce the full release.

Allows them to judge reception to the game before it's out. If only one person cared to subscribe, we might be waiting longer. If there are 10,000 interested people, might be this Friday.
