Animated weather widget on HD2, Hero and Evo, but not on Nexus One?

I LOVE the animated weather widget that is on the HD2, Hero and Evo. I switched to the Nexus One because it fitted my needs better than the others did. Am I missing it or does the Nexus One not have the animated weather widget? I didnt think that not having an animated weather widget would be a big deal, but I am really missing it.

Can anyone help with some insight?

I believe the animated widget is from HTCs Sense UI which the Nexus One doesn't have. I assume you can find something similar in the market though, never used it but people swear by beautiful widgets.

there is a free on on the market called fancy widget. it looks like the senseUI one but its not animated. but it works

I tried both, Beautiful and Fancy widgets and couldnt get either to animate.

Thanks for the information, sounds like SenseUI or lack thereof is the culprit.

Root your phone. Flash a Desire ROM. That's about the only way to get the animated weather effects. Its a Sense thing.

I really like the NexDESIRE Remix ROM. Give that one a try.

Okay so I just flashed to NexDESIRE v1.2 REMIX. First thing I noticed is that I cannot get my Wifi to connect. Anyone know why?
