Annoying pop up ads

Is there any other way to remove pop up ads. I tried turning off pop up ad in settings but still getting them.....

It depends where they are coming from. To install a global ad blocker you need to root, which I'm not sure is possible yet for an 8+. If they are coming from your browser, sometime all you need to do is clear your cache. If they are from a specific app, remove the app and find a less intrusive alternative.

You mean when using a web browser? If the settings aren't doing it, try a different browser. I have never had a pop-up on any of my phones, but I haven't used the default browser your phone comes with so cannot say about that one.
