Annoying pop up!

I keep getting this pop up on my phone and my wife is getting the same type message saying we've won our phones and to click OK to claim. Obviously we don't click on anything. We have to close the tab. What is this and how can we avoid this? It constantly pops up despite using different broswers.

Hi, this is probably the result of an App you have downloaded, if so there are really only two options, uninstall all recently downloaded Apps, and re-install one by one until you find the culprit, or do a factory reset. Phil

Assuming you are getting this while browsing the web, that looks like a script popup - must be an ad from the website you are visiting. You can switch to firefox browser and use their no tracking (which blocks ads) http://www.androidpolice.com/2015/1...-tracking-protection-basically-an-ad-blocker/

Or if you are rooted, install an ad-blocker

I uninstalled Peel Smart Remote, which came preinstalled on this Phone and its update was causing the ads. See:
