Help Another different wi-fi issue

Hi guys,

So I tried doing a search through other wi-fi threads in this forum and trying the tips posted there, before making this thread. So, they definitely haven't sorted out my issue thus far (to be more specific, I tried the 526 trick and the static IP trick).

What happens is this. I try to select my home router, which appears in the list and has a great signal strength and all that. I enter the password. The connect button doesn't even light up. The only functional button is cancel.

Not quite sure what to do about this...

I have the Samsung Galaxy Ace S5380 running 2.3.4 Gingerbread.

Welcome, EternalStar01, to Android Forums.
I once had this problem with a different phone awhile back, and I had to call the service provider and they had to reconfigure my wifi connection. Good Luck, and keep us posted on the solution, please.

I more or less have the same problem except that the mobile trys to connect but wont is there any more advice available I dont have a data package with my phone contract and really need to be able to get onto the internet
