Help Another Marshmellow problem

Android Expert
My Verizon M9 just got Marshmallowed. The problem is it changed the name of my external SD card and now some of the apps that are using it don't work. They can't find their data. I tried renaming it with ES File Explorer but was denied. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

holly bejeezus, that is totally against the rules....

anyone, who has ever touched a computer knows you can't be changing path-names willy nilly.

that scares me, my daughter has the same phone and thousands of pictures and files on it.

I just checked, and yes, the update is available.
asked her what she wants to do, and she said "No Thanks", and wow!
Verizon actually allowed me to click on a "No Thanks" button and it won't try to force it on us.

now why didn't they allow me to keep 4.4.4 on my S5 and Note 4 ???
I hate LolliFlop

Don't panic, I didn't loose anything. It just changed the name so my Amazon music player can't find them(my others can) and my Roboform password holder got skunked.( That was backed up on my laptop) If I didn't have backups I would be really upset. That's why they say, "Backup, backup, backup." You never know when you might need it.
