Hi guys about to buy a legend when they are released next week and this is my 1st exposure to a droid phone except for a week of owning a Magic that got run over....
As a newbie what apps would you suggested to get me started. I have tried to do some reserach here. Apps in brackets are what I assume are good apps after reading some here... If you have a moment Id be keen to hear your views.
Answer and make calls as easily as possible.
Search contacts easily and a good call log (Dialler One)
A good keyboard for fat fingers
(Swype)
SMS (Handcent)
MMS
Facebook (App from FB)
Browser - (Xscope lite)
Be able to download maps and store them on the SD card and then use them at a later date, preferably with a GPS function.
Take photos and send to PC, even if needing a cable.
Is there an App so my work emails (Outllook) can be delivered directly to me like my Crackberry once did?
From what I have read Skype wont work to make calls to landlines and cells when hooked to a wifi spot. Is there an alternative?
