Another noob

Hi, I've registered as David NB, because my usual internet handle, David B, seems to be taken.

I'm an old British man, but not a rich one , expecting a time in hospital fairly soon, so I've just bought an Asus Nexus tablet hoping to get a load of stuff downloaded cheap or free books, audio books and stuff downloaded so I can pass the time more comfortably.

The computer world has moved faster than I have, so I'm not all that competent.

So I'm hoping for some help.

Hello David B. Thanks for using Android Forums for your needs. I'm sorry you are anticipating a hospital stay.. I do wish you well and a speedy recovery. I'm leaving you a link to the list of Android tablets that we have discussion areas for. You will want to open the list and then find your tablet in the list and give it a click. You will then be in the area where your tablet is discussed. You will find a great deal of information there just by reading what the other owners/users of your tablet have been saying about your tab. If you have any questions about your tablet, feel free to ask in that area and those users will be happy to help you out. It's a great way to get up to speed with your new tablet.
