Another update?

I recently got an OTA update to software version 2.41.605.23. Tonight I read about a new OTA update to version 2.51.617.21. This supposedly fixes the Blueborne vulnerability. (A problem with Bluetooth devices that allows a hacker into your phone.) Anyone get this download or know anything about it?

I installed a new software update just before I left for work tonight. Not sure what the number was but I'll check when I get home.

I'm not worried about the Blueborne vulnerability because I'm just using my 10 over wireless from home as a sort of datapad type thing and I only use wired headsets.

I got the September 1, 2017 Android security patch.

Thanks for the information. One last question. Is your carrier Verizon? That's who I use and I still can't get it.

No it was unlocked but i had been using an AT&T sim card until I went to Wi-Fi only.

Thanks for the help. I spoke to Verizon and HTC. Both said the other had the information. A perfect example of passing the buck. Lol
