[ANSWERED] FlashFire not working while rooted with KingRoot

The device i'm working with right now is my Galaxy Tab 4 8.0 AT&T (SM-T337A). Since TWRP is not available for the device, I decided to install Chainfire's app FlashFire from the Google Play Store, specifically for making backups of the device incase I screw something up. Info on the modifications I've made to the device is listed down below.

Rooted with KingRoot APK v4.9.2 143
Busybox info in red:
PATH: /system/xbin/busybox
VERSION: v1.24.2-jrummy
PERMISSIONS: 755 (rwxr-xr-x)
Device running 5.1.1 stock rom
Rom has been rooted, de-knoxed, and de-bloated

Hopefully the info I gave is enough to help solve this problem. :confused: A screenshot is also available below of the error I'm getting in FlashFire, if anyone else has had this issue before or knows how to fix it, please let me know below. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. :D

The kingroot and Supersu me Devs are historically at odds. Supersu me can cause a boot loop in some devices. I have never had a problem but you should read some of the app reviews to see if this pertains to your device.
In addition kinguser has taken it upon itself to install into /system. Unfortunately, this is an ever changing landscape so caution is preferred.
 
@Jfalls63 I bought the app about 3 months back and tried it on this and my Galaxy Alpha AT&T (SM-G850A). Great app, It was worth the money, but so far it's only worked on the Alpha, and didn't work on the Tab 4. :( Are there other options? :eek::eek::eek:
 
@Jfalls63 Tried that and it boot looped, I'm gonna try re-flashing /system in Odin and trying again, I'll also try unrooting it, then reinstalling kingroot for a temp root and try it again because at that point KingRoot installed itself as a system app. I'll get back to ya if it works the 2nd time.
 
@Jfalls63 It kinda worked. The script method did work but I rebooted after updating the binary and Root Checker and SuperSU said my device wasn't rooted. Is this meant to be a temporary root or permanent root? Also everytime I tried to backup my personal stuff, it would just sit on a blank screen until I reboot it. I waited a max of 10 minutes before rebooting it and still nothing.

EDIT: Disregard, got it working. Turns out that updating the su binary puts in a boot loop. But on the FlashFire side of things, I just needed to repeat the process with the first .zip file on the download page (I downloaded the second link) and try it again. I still think its meant to be a temporary root though, as the SuperSU binary is gone when I reboot.

You could try using FlashFire to install SuperSU update zip while you have temp root and FlashFire working. This should install SuperSU in the system and might stick after binary is updated.

"Software not authorized by AT&T has been found on this device." - Error I got afterwards.

EDIT: Nevermind, lol. Just had to reflash the boot.img file, But SuperSU still doesn't stick.
